About this app

SocialLite uses Android's Accessibility Service to monitor and limit time spent in social media apps, enforcing the screen time limits you set. This service does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data — it is used solely to detect which app is in the foreground and apply your configured restrictions

SocialLite is the app for people who want to use social media without losing hours to endless scrolling.

We don't block social media entirely - that's not realistic. Instead, SocialLite surgically removes the most addictive features while keeping the parts you actually need.

What gets blocked:

- Short-form video feeds designed to keep you scrolling

- Algorithmic recommendations and suggested content

- Explore and discovery pages

- Live streams and shopping tabs

- Ads and sponsored posts

What you keep:…

Paywall blocks the basics

I have been a loyal user of Sociallite for over 4 years, and it was my go-to tool for managing distraction. However, the recent update suddenly locked all features behind a high subscription fee without any option for early users. I truly…

app is locked behind paywall so they want you to pay to "get ur life back"

1★ · Google Play · 2026-10-07

You can't use the app at all without paying, they make it seem like you can then as soon as you finish setting it up it forces you to a paywall where you can't do anything without a subscription.

False advertising An Instagram ad described this app to remove suggested content and ads from my Instagram for FREE. Anything useful associated with this app is behind a pay wall. Don't waste your time giving these guys your data thinking…

App might work well, I don't know. I uninstalled it after 3 minutes in setup. They don't lead with the fact that it requires a paid version. It asks for your personal info and email to set up an account, then locks you into a screen to…

Supporting measurements. They are not a complete list of possible harms or positives. “Not assessed” means we could not measure it — never zero, never a pass.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

How a review signal works

A review signal is produced automatically from public app reviews by a classifier — never by a hands-on Appworthy test, and never by a human analyst. It exists so a real, not-yet-audited app can carry more than a blank “Not yet tested” listing, without ever being mistaken for an assessment.

A theme only appears above once at least 5 distinct reviews corroborate it — one angry review can never tag an app. These thresholds are published settings and may be tuned as coverage grows.

It carries no confirmed findings — reviews are one kind of evidence, and nothing here has been hands-on tested. The moment Appworthy publishes a full assessment of this app, it replaces this signal, permanently.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review replaces this review-derived signal with hands-on, recorded measurements. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
