About this app

The simplest sourdough starter tracker — log feedings, set smart reminders, and keep your starter healthy with real-time safety alerts. No subscription, no AI gimmicks. Pay once, use forever. Works offline, no account needed.

Built for home bakers who want to track their sourdough starter without complicated recipe apps or overcomplicated features. Just feeding logs, health tracking, smart alerts, and reliable reminders.

FEATURES:

• Safety Alerts (Free) – Instant pop-up warnings for the situations that matter most: unusual smell, overheating risk, no visible activity, and beginner SOS. Never lose a starter again.

• Smart Health Tips (Premium) – In-depth analysis across 6 dimensions: temperature range, hydration ratio, smell diagnostics, rise timing, bubble activity, and feeding interval.…

Version 1.4.14 · 2026-10-11
Log what goes into each feeding: pick the main flour, add a little whole wheat, rye, barley or a flour you name, with grams if you like. You can also note how much starter you discarded. Both show in your history and the export. Plan a bake at other ratios: tap "Other ratio" and type one, like 1:3:3. Clearer safety advice: a rotten smell now tells you to throw the starter out and start fresh. Fixed: the export now labels room temperature in your unit (°F or °C).

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
