Know exactly where the sun will be — at any place, on any date.
Sun Tracker AR projects the sun's path into the real world through your camera, maps it in 2D and 3D, and simulates the shadows it casts. Built for photographers, architects, house hunters, gardeners, surveyors and solar panel installers — and for anyone who wants to know when the light hits.
SOLAR PATH IN AR
• Augmented reality projection of the sun's position and full daily arc at your location. Point your phone and see where the sun will rise, peak and set.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL MAP
• Detailed 2D and 3D visualisation of the solar path, compass mode and shadow simulator. See at a glance which side of a building gets the most sunlight hours per day.…

“Not assessed” means we could not measure it. It is never a zero and never a pass.
No package has been scanned for this app, so nothing is published about what it ships. That is an absence of evidence, not a finding.

Each store’s release notes, as the developer wrote them. They are the developer’s words, not ours.
**Shadows are now on the map!** With this new release, you can explore how real buildings cast shadows throughout the day, with the sun’s path and shadows displayed in 3D. You can also play around by adding your own trees and boxes to see how they affect sunlight, and get a detailed sun and shade report for any day you choose. Plus, we've made performance improvements and fixed a few bugs to make the app run even more smoothly.
Appworthy
sun-tracker-arWhat the stores publish. Store ratings are the stores’ numbers, not Appworthy’s, and are never averaged across stores.
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
These are really on sale; we just can’t tell from the name whether they recur.
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
