About this app

Bring your tasks, notes and calendar together without creating a TaskForge account. Your tasks and notes stay in local Markdown files you can open in any editor.

Create tasks, write notes and view your calendar for free. Note editing is in beta. Start with a folder of your own or use your existing Obsidian vault, with nothing to import or convert.

A real to-do list and task manager on every screen you use: iPhone, iPad and Mac. Widgets, notifications, a month calendar with your own events beside your tasks, kanban, search, and your notes in the same app.

"After trying many apps and workflows, this is the first one that actually stuck and made me productive!" (user review)

Works with your vault

Reads and writes Obsidian Tasks emoji fields, Dataview fields, Task Genius and TaskNotes YAML frontmatter with your own field mapping. Every edit goes back to the original file.…

Version 3.0.3 · 2026-10-12
Version 3.0 Notes are in the app. Open, read and edit any note in your vault, right beside the tasks inside it. Every workspace gets a daily note, one tap from search or the calendar agenda. One field instead of a + button. A floating dock and one omnibar to search, jump anywhere and create. ⌘K on Mac. Free, optional desktop tools for your agent. Install the taskforge CLI and local MCP server separately on your computer to read and edit tasks and notes. A generated format guide explains your folder's syntax. AI provider account requirements and data handling still apply. Siri adds tasks for you. Say “Add a task using TaskForge” and it saves without opening the app. On iPhone, TaskForge…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
