TempReceipt is a privacy-first, local utility designed for modern shoppers who want clean, digital receipts without giving away their personal email address at the cash register.
HOW IT WORKS
When a cashier asks for your email to send a digital receipt, simply hold up your phone. TempReceipt displays a scannable, high-contrast QR code and a custom routing string based on the universal email plus-addressing standard (e.g., [email protected]).
The receipt delivers straight to your existing inbox (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, etc.), while keeping your primary address completely hidden from store mailing lists and data brokers.
