About this app

Pray Morning, Midday, Evening, and Compline (bedtime) prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (2019), every day, wherever you are. The Daily Office sets out each office on one page, in order: no flipping between sections, no looking up readings in the lectionary, no rubrics to decode.

Join Christians around the world in the pattern of daily prayer the Church has kept since its earliest days.…

Version 4.0.0 · 2026-10-28
The biggest update since The Daily Office began. • A new design, modeled on the printed 2019 prayer book: Caslon type, small capitals, and the liturgical color of the day • Book view: pray an office page by page, turning the pages like a real book • Audio for every office, with word-by-word highlighting, that keeps playing with your screen locked, with controls on the lock screen and your headphones • Podcasts: Morning and Evening Prayer and the daily readings in your podcast app, or make your own • Light, sepia, and dark themes; six typefaces; rubrics in italic or red • A redesigned calendar, with a subscription for your calendar app • Readings now sit beside the Daily Office and Family…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
