On August 2, 2027, a total solar eclipse will cross southern Spain, North Africa, Egypt and Arabia, and in Upper Egypt the sky will stay dark for more than six minutes, a totality no eclipse will match until 2114. The Eclipse App is your companion for the whole day: an interactive map of the path of totality and a live countdown that tells you when your eclipse glasses go on and when they come off.
