About this app

A simulated engine on a dyno, run by a standalone ECU you tune yourself. Change the fuel map, the timing or the boost and watch what happens to the power curve, the mixture and the knock sensor.

It behaves like the real thing. The engine model runs every combustion event. Lean it out and it misfires. Add too much timing and it knocks, then cracks a piston. Fit bigger injectors without telling the ECU and it floods.

THE ECU

- Fuel VE, lambda targets, ignition, boost target and wastegate duty, idle, warmup, cranking, accel enrichment and dead times

- Closed loop, knock control, rev and boost limiters, auto learn and "Fix from pull"

- Select cells, drag curves, type values, interpolate and smooth, in a grid or in 3D

- Lay the data log over any table and see which cells ran lean or knocked…

App Store

Version 1.1.0 · 2026-10-30
- Daily challenge: one broken engine a day, the same for every player, with a leaderboard. Tuesdays and Saturdays are free on the Turbo Four. - Career: four rival shops with an 8-week season at Dyno Day. - Cars you tuned come back weeks later, on warranty if the tune was too close to the edge, or as regulars if it held up. - Intermittent faults that only show hot, cold, under boost or near redline, and a new "Three shops tried" job. - 8 new achievements. - Fixes for career saves, Game Center scores over 500 hp/L, and road tests started from the job card.
Version 1.0.2 · 2026-10-16
New - Reminders: get a nudge when customers are waiting at your shop or a lesson is left to do. At most one a day, never at night. Turn them on or off in Setup. - Sharper engine parts on iPhone and iPad. - After a dyno pull, the dyno goes back to the mode, rpm and throttle you had set, instead of holding at 2500 rpm. - A short note after each update shows what changed.

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
