Undertint helps watercolor painters answer one question: how do I mix that color, with the paints I already have?
Point Undertint at a photo. The app simplifies the image into the colors you would actually need to paint, then gives you a mixing recipe for each one, drawn from your own palette. Recipes use Kubelka-Munk pigment mixing, the same math color scientists use to model how watercolor pigments combine on paper. The output is a recipe you can mix at the page, not a color you can only see on a screen.
Everything happens on your device, on iPhone and iPad. Photos never leave it. Free to try. Pro unlocks multi-paint mixing recipes and bookmarking, as a one-off purchase or a monthly subscription.

undertintWhat the stores publish. Store ratings are the stores’ numbers, not Appworthy’s, and are never averaged across stores.
From the store listing. Billing terms are read from each purchase’s name — the stores don’t publish them — so treat them as a strong hint, not a disclosure.
These are really on sale; we just can’t tell from the name whether they recur.
Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.
