About this app

VeraCast is a weather app done right: fast, accurate, beautifully presented, and built natively for iOS 26 — without ads or tracking. Free to download, with optional Premium for the extras.

— MEET VERA —

A little celestial weather buddy floats beside the temperature, dresses for the weather, and gives you the day's most important tip. Tap her to ask anything, or turn her off in Settings for the classic look.

— ON-DEVICE AI BRIEFINGS —

Apple Intelligence generates a friendly daily summary of your weather, written in plain English. Everything happens on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to a server. Available on iPhone 15 Pro and newer.

— PREMIUM: ASTRO-WEATHER HOROSCOPE —

A full daily reading that ties today's sky to your real weather: love, career, and wellness guidance, lucky color and number, compatible signs, and a morning notification.…

Meet the new Vera. She has a softer, cuter face and nearly 50 looks that follow the weather and the temperature: a picnic on warm sunny days, a sled and snowman in the snow, a bucket on her head in a downpour, and a cozy nightcap after dark. She blinks, smiles when you tap her, and gets a little grumpy when it rains. Wind you can see. On windy days, soft swirling gusts drift across the sky in the real wind direction. Also: the radar's map style button no longer wraps on the foldable iPhone. Thank you for using VeraCast!

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
