About this app

Scan your lot, sell permits, and issue payable citations all within the Vert ALPR app. VertALPR is a new generation of vehicle-mounted automatic license plate recognition that runs completely on your mobile phone. The VertALPR app uses an array of state-of-the-art neural networks to recognize and read license plates in real-time, even while driving. Plates are compared against lookup lists in real-time with fuzzy-matching. The only device you need is your phone.

USING VERT ALPR IS EASY

VertALPR works handheld or while driving. If using a vehicle, simply attach your phone to any windshield or dashboard mobile phone mount. Set the phone to the landscape/horizontal position and begin scanning.

App Store

Version 4.0.1 · 2026-09-24
A big refresh to scanning, violations and lists. VIOLATIONS • Redesigned violation list and detail pages, with clear status labels at a glance • Add or remove photos on an existing violation • Void and reissue a violation in one step when details need correcting • State or province is now a required choice when writing a violation, so nothing is missed • $0 violations no longer show an "Unpaid" label SCANNING AND LISTS • Cleaner scan history rows that lead with the plate and the alert • Fixed a crash that could occur while matching plates against a list AROUND THE APP • Refreshed home screen with the scan button always within thumb's reach • Faster, clearer violation printing screen…

Method and limits

What this report can and cannot show

What a missing label means

Not yet tested. No analysis has been published for this app, so there is no method to describe for it yet. A missing label is not a clean bill of health: it means nothing has been read, not that nothing is wrong.

Limits of this report

  • A package scan is static. It identifies code and text in one Android build. It does not measure a live ad session, test a deletion request, or count the steps needed to cancel.
  • Reviews keep their sample. A review-only charge shows distinct reviewers, the share and the sample size, and is published only once it clears that label’s published threshold. Calibration labels are machine-drafted and not yet confirmed by a person.
  • Not assessed is a state. It is never a zero and never a pass.
  • A missing label is not a clean bill of health. It means the evidence did not support one, not that the app is problem-free.
Not yet human-reviewed. A human review gives an app hands-on, recorded measurements. None has been run for this app. Hands-on inspections are not yet open.
